TREES DE BOER

The amsterdam artist Trees de Boer has got her art education at the Rijksacademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. The human figure has always been an important subject in her work. Proceeding from fast sketches, made in waiting rooms, on terraces, in the streets etc. she composes her paintings in her studio. Also still lifes give rise for her to the 'voyage of discovery' wich finally ends into a painting. It always remains an exciting action with the canvas. She also uses many other materials like sand, string, paper, letters and printed cotton to increase the energy of a painting. Especially the field of tension of a line, raised by the use of rope, is fascinating. She echibited many times and implemented different orders for private persons and enterprises. Paintings are sold to Heiniken, Centraal Beheer, C.S.M., Krasnapolsky, Elektrolux, Bloemenveiling Aalsmeer and many others.
