AAFKE GODTHELP

Aafke Godthelp was born in Harlingen, Friesland, the northern province of the Netherlands and lives now in Dronten, Flevoland.

In 1987 she finished her art education at the ''Hogeschool voor de Kunsten'', an academy of fine arts in Kampen.

She developed herself as a profilic painter experimenting with a variety of techniques and materials, using oilpaints, ink, acrillic. So she gained a large freedom and versatility in her work.

Paintings of Aafke Godthelp are taken into the public art collection in Lelystad and many of her works are in private property.

She exhibited her work in solo as well in joint exhibitions in the Netherlands, Germany and France.

During the winter-season she gives trainingslessons in drawing and painting in her own studio in Dronten, the Netherlands.
